Limited Warranty

1. For the original owner only, LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC will repair, or at its option replace, any defective parts of the instrument for up to 5 years since purchase date subject to the listed limitations and exclusions. LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair or replace the various parts of the instrument, rather than to replace the subject instrument under this limited warranty.

2. The instrument’s case, factory installed tuning machines and factory installed electronics will be repaired or, at our sole discretion, replaced for a period of one year from the date of purchase if determined by LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC to be defective in material or workmanship.

3. LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC reserves the exclusive right to determine the method, materials and/or specifications of warrantable repairs. The repairs may be visible upon completion.

4. This limited warranty is strictly limited to the terms of this document.

5. This limited warranty does not include any instrument on which the serial number has been removed or altered.

6. The limited warranty terminates upon transfer of the instruments ownership from the original owner. The limited warranty is non-transferable.

7. The limited warranty is only valid when the instrument is purchased from LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC.

8. Any unauthorized repairs or structural or permanent or cosmetic customizations will render this limited warranty null and void.

9. Repairs under this limited warranty will be performed by LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC.

10. Warrantable repairs may be visible, LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC assumes no responsibility for the effect of any such repairs on the resale of the instrument.

11. The future value of this instrument is not covered by this limited warranty.

12. All shipping and insurance costs and arrangements for purposes of seeking and/ or obtaining a warrantable repair under this limited warranty shall be borne by the original owner of the instrument. A return shipping label and pre-paid insurance must accompany all instruments sent to LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC seeking warranty services.

13. LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC shall have no responsibility and shall be held harmless for any damages to or the loss of the instrument that occurs during shipping. We recommend the original owner to insure the instrument for at least the purchase value of the instrument.

14. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to the instrument. Certain components of the instrument are subject to normal wear and tear and are not covered under this limited warranty unless LastingBuild, LLC determines that damage resulted from defective materials or workmanship. The following components are not covered under this limited warranty: Tuning hardware, bridge, fretboard, bridge pins, saddle, end pins, strings, frets, nut and pickguards.

15. This limited warranty does not cover actions adjustments, truss rod adjustments and neck resets for action adjustment that occur due to normal use. If LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC determines a neck reset is needed due to defective materials or workmanship then this repair will be covered under this limited warranty.

16. This limited warranty does not include cracks in wood, finish checking or damage caused by exposure to humidity or temperature outside the recommended range as specified by LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC.

17. This limited warranty excludes tone or sound complaints, shipping damage, natural disasters, damage due to impact or improper operation, misuse, abuse or negligence, failure to properly follow manufactures recommendations for maintenance and care, damage from inserting end pins forcefully, damage from loose end pins, damage caused by instrument accessories and/ or damage caused by improper repair or adjustment or incompetent repair persons.

18. This limited warranty excludes damage or discoloration to the finish resulting from exposure to cleaning solvents, alcohol, perfumes, hand or body lotions, cosmetics, insect repellent, silicone products, perspiration and other external substances.

19. The limited warranty excludes merchandise such as key chains, pick boxes, shirts, hats and/or stickers and excludes CNC Luthiery services.

20. If irreparable damage to the instrument was to occur while in the possession of LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC for a repair then the instrument will be replaced with a new instrument of the same or most similar model available.

21. If repairable damage to the instrument was to occur while in the possession of LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC for a repair then the instrument will be repaired but not replaced by LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC.

22. In no event, shall LastingBuild Luthiery, LLC be liable for any damages based on inconvenience, loss of product, loss of time, interrupted operation or commercial loss or any other incidental or consequential damages of any nature or kind, including limited to, lost profits, downtime, goodwill and or damage to or replacement of equipment and property.

23. A copy of your original receipt demonstrating proof of purchase must accompany any and all requests for warranty coverage.
